Private training for puppies and adult dogs (and people)
Your dog is your best friend, they look to you for guidance, and when that guidance isn’t there, that’s when you see those unwanted behaviors. By investing in private dog training, you’re giving your dog the tools you both need to thrive.
Common reasons for choosing private dog training:
Your dog jumps on you or others even when you tell them to stop
Your dog has no sense of recall and runs away if they are off-leash
Your dog seems unusually shy, timid or anxious
Your puppy bites often, which can be normal for a puppy, but can develop into bad habits
Your dog doesn’t seem to be adjusting well or outgrowing problematic behaviors
You know that you also need training to help create the best home for your dog
Frequently
Asked
Questions
What is the first step?
After our phone consultation, we schedule a one-hour evaluation at the location where you most notice your dogs behavioral issues. This allows us to observe the dog’s body language as we talk through those behaviors that you’d like to see addressed.
Where do we train?
After we develop a plan of action, we’ll choose a variety of locations such as your home, public parks, walking trails, and pet-friendly stores.
How long does each training session last?
1 hour, depending on how well your pup is doing and so long as they aren’t getting overwhelmed, which can happen the first few classes as your dog is new to being worked for that long. Ideally by the third class, your dog will be rocking and rolling through that entire hour session.
How many sessions will my dog need?
Typically we recommend 6 to 12 but it’s all dependent on your dog, your ability to work with your dog outside of training sessions. Consistency is key!
Do you offer any military discounts?
Yes, we are from a proud military family and both active and retired military will receive 10% of all training services. We also offer multi dog discounts for families looking to train more than one pup.
Do I also get training!
Yes, that’s a very important part of your dog’s success so you’ll be a part of every training session.
